Four Year Lauderdale County Road Program 2012-2015
The St. Luke Cemetery and the T.J. Wilson Cemetery, located on 10th Avenue, have been declared historically significant by the Mississippi State Department of Archives and History. Any family members, friends, or anyone who has any information that would help identify unmarked graves at these cemeteries, please contact District 2 Supervisor Wayman Newell at (601)938-3741 or email County Administrator Joe McCraney at jmccraney@lauderdalecounty.org.

Lauderdale County is located in the clay hills soil area of the east-central portion of the State of Mississippi, bordering the State of Alabama. The County, named for Colonel James Lauderdale, who was killed in the Battle of New Orleans, has a land area of 715 square miles.
