Some of the things this Court does is to prepare and send out jury summons, record in general docket books criminal and civil cases $1000 to $75,000, keep the minutes and prepare cases appealed to a higher court as well as conduct County Court. It handles appeal cases from Municipal and Justice Court and issues process from County Court. Writs of garnishment, replevins and executions, and warrants are also functions of this court. It also prepares and keeps cash disbursement journals and prepares allowances for State Treasury and it takes in and disburses garnishment funds.
