The Chancery Clerk acts as clerk to the Board of Supervisors, the Chancery Court, the County Treasurer and County Auditor. Keeps land records, which include delinquent tax records, as well as our deeds and mortgages. Deposits monies in a timely manner, keeps the County payroll, and sees to the paying of County bills. Also responsible for filing Chancery Court cases and issuing legal notices in divorces, estates, adoptions, guardianships, and conservatorship.
